TO BRING D-BACKS POST-GAME SHOWS TO THE CENTER THIS SEASON
32 EDITIONS OF QWEST DIAMONDBACKS LIVE WILL BE DONE LIVE FROM “THE DISTRICT” STAGE
The Tempe Marketplace is turning into the place to be for fun and entertainment in the Valley. Just days after the huge X-Men Origins: Wolverine world premiere came to the 1.3 million square-foot shopping, dining and entertainment center, FOX Sports Arizona will begin producing its Arizona Diamondbacks post-game shows live from the venue this Friday and Saturday night.
Qwest Diamondbacks Live is the network’s post-game show for the D-backs and after 32 road games this season, the half-hour program will be done live from The District stage at Tempe Marketplace. The area is located just outside Cadillac Ranch, San Felipe’s and Dave & Busters. Fans are invited to come out to watch the show and get the opportunity to appear on television. Prizes will also be given away after each show and Miller will offer drink specials at Cadillac Ranch, San Felipe’s and Dave & Busters on the nights FOX Sports Arizona does its show.
On Friday and Saturday nights when FOX Sports Arizona is at Tempe Marketplace, the D-backs post-game shows aren’t the only reason why fans will want to be there. On nine different dates, the venue will also feature live concerts on The District’s stage that are set to begin before FOX Sports Arizona does it show.
This Friday, the band Hello Swindon, an original alternative band, goes on at 7 p.m. and the post-game show begins at approximately 8 p.m. Then on Saturday, Joy World Entertainment, which is a Grateful Dead tribute band, helps FOX Sports Arizona celebrate “Bratstock” while the D-backs play in the home of the Bratwurst – Milwaukee. Qwest Diamondbacks Live starts at approximately 7 p.m. and the concert will follow immediately after.

The venue provides great energy and will also help bring more attention to our team and business partners.”
